Uncomposed; A Poem About Iceland, The Land of Fire and Ice

Uncomposed

Limbs and branches

Nowhere to be found

Green sunsets & volcanic rock

Beating soundly underground

Waving

Sounds

Sweeping sadness of the outside lands

Shivering wonder – never standing still

Elfin glory, no need for words

Love is a battlefield

I thought I was proud until we met

And I have lost my heart forever

In Vikings

In past glories and debaucheries that made sense

Beauty in contradiction

Beauty in imperfection

The untamed
